Hi, Amanda! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am so excited that you will be visiting the Disneyland Resort soon! On days when Mickey's Halloween Party is taking place, Guests who do not have tickets to this special event are asked to leave Disneyland Park when the party begins - which is either 6:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. However, if you have a Park Hopper ticket, you are free to hop on over to Disney California Adventure Park to continue your fun. You'll definitely want to see the Haul-o-Ween overlay of Cars Land and perhaps take a ride on
Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark which is only available after the sun goes down during Halloween Time. In fact, all of Disney California Adventure Park is a spooky delight at night as the trees lining Buena Vista Street light up in purple and the statue of the Headless Horseman has it's own special effects after dark.
You can also take this time to shop or dine in the
Downtown Disney District which will remain open to the general public. This might be the perfect time to pick up some souvenirs at World of Disney or to enjoy a delicious dinner at Catal or The Rainforest Cafe. Or head to one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels for a meal or drinks. I personally recommend
Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel. This place is a hoot and the drinks and bar snacks are as wacky as they are tasty.
As you can see, there is still plenty to see and do at the Disneyland Resort even if you don't have a ticket to Mickey's Halloween Party. Have a spooktacular time!
