I couldn't get a dinner res so my 50th Birthday meal will have to be lunch at BOG. Do they accommodate special requests? Want to order only salad greens and a plain baguette w/ butter to go with soup. The baguette and greens are on menu with other items.

    Hi, Tracy!

Happy 50th Birthday to YOU! What a great place to celebrate, too!

I really enjoyed my lunch at Be Our Restaurant, which included the Tuna Nicoise Salad...yum!

When you order your meal at BOG, I would ask a Cast Member for assistance. My particular party ordered and paid separately; some of us ordered from interactive kiosks while others ordered via a Cast Member. As such, perhaps you can request either the Tuna Nicoise Salad or the Quinoa Salad, but without the tuna / quinoa, substituting a baguette instead. (Although the baguette may be a bit tricky; I was able to get a CM to prepare a Ham & Cheese Croissant, minus the ham, for my vegetarian daughter, but we had to wait for a Manager to approve it.)

Adding French Onion Soup to your order, of course, will round out the meal nicely.

Another option might be for you to enjoy the French Onion Soup and a celebratory cream puff or cupcake when BOG opens (10:30 or 11:00, depending on the date) then head to a dinner reservation at The Crystal Palace or nearby Chef Mickey's (at Disney's Contemporary Resort), where you'll be able to enjoy anything you'd like at their scrumptious buffets. There, you can choose a salad, bread and butter, soup and so much more; it's your birthday, after all, so celebrate!

No matter what your plans, have a wonderful day of celebration in the happiest place on Earth!

Send more questions as you think of them, too, Tracy; we love to help!
