2 ?s: are cots available at Pop Century for one of the kids in the preferred room? Seems as if there is a queen and a full bed, there are 4 of us total. 2nd ? When will Disney Springs be decorated for Christmas? We are there 11/5-11/11 this year...

    Hi Rachel,

My family has been staying at the Pop Century resort frequently since it opened. The rooms are designed to sleep up to four people in two double beds. As our daughters have gotten older and found sharing a bed less appealing, we have occasionally asked for a rollaway bed. Pop Century usually has been able to accommodate for a small additional fee. Supplies are limited, however, so I would suggest making your request before arrival. Just note that the extra bed is a tight squeeze.

I love the holidays throughout Walt Disney World and can't wait to see how all the new areas of Disney Springs will transform this year. As you probably know, Magic Kingdom makes the transition from Halloween to Christmas almost overnight for the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The rest of the parks follow pretty quickly and are normally fully decorated well before Thanksgiving.

In 2015, the special holiday entertainment at Disney Springs, including Santa, began on November 13. So I expect you will at least be able to see some of the decorations this year, maybe even the full regalia!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as you make your final plans. Here's wishing you a magical vacation with your family!
