Hi Theresa and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I spoke with a few Cast Members to find the answer to your question. I first want to make sure I understand your question. People use "cot" to mean a rollaway-type portable bed and they use "cot" to mean a Pack 'n Play Playard for an infant or toddler. I'll answer both questions just in case.
As for a rollaway-type portable bed, the
Moderate Resorts like
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort have an extremely limited availability of these types of beds. They cannot be reserved in advance and are first come, first served. The Cast Members I spoke to emphasized how difficult it is to secure one of these beds. Whether or not they would allow you to have one also depends on the occupancy limits of the room. The occupancy of the rooms with a king-sized bed at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is two adults plus one infant under the age of 3.
You are in better luck if you were hoping for a Pack 'n Play Playard. The Pack 'n Play Playard is available upon request and they seem to have a good supply of those. The room occupancy limits still apply but more than likely the Pack 'n Play would be for an infant or toddler under the age of 3.
Theresa, thank you for stopping by with your question. I hope you'll let me know if I can help you further with this question or any other planning questions you may have.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Amy H.
