Season’s Greetings, Denise! Welcome back to planDisney.
Like Olaf, I wish that living here in Florida I had my own personal flurry this time of year! Hmm. . . I have to talk to Elsa about that. Regardless,
Very Merrytime Cruises are my favorite way to celebrate the holiday season! I can’t wait for you to see the beautiful three-deck tall Christmas tree in the Grand Hall. You might even catch the “Big Guy” himself checking over the nice list.
I was on the Disney Wish last year during the holidays, and there was plenty of Christmas cheer for the young and young-at-heart. Special experiences may include a festive tree-lighting ceremony, hugs with Santa Claus, story time with Mrs. Claus, and lots of themed crafts, treats, and special drinks. You can expect a few surprises on December 24 and 25! I know that Santa stops by once more, and there’s lots of caroling.
Events are subject to change and vary by ship and itinerary, but I promise you’ll have a holly, jolly good time! Make sure you download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. The app will point you towards all the holiday happenings. It will also list your dining rotation and the suggested attire each evening.
Sunday is
Pirate Night. This beloved Disney Cruise Line tradition features a day full of pirate-themed activities, a themed dinner menu, and a special fireworks celebration at sea. Some Guests go all out and wear full pirate costumes, while others wear a fun shirt or bandana (or you could wear a Santa hat instead!).
While not exactly a themed night, many Guests bring matching pajamas or sweaters to take a family picture in front of the sparkling Christmas tree. Disney photographs are on hand to capture these special moments. They even offer a few Magic Shots for the holidays.
Thank you, Denise, for bringing your question to planDisney! Please feel free to see us again as the merriest time approaches. I hope your adventure at sea is sunny and bright!
SEAS the adventure!
