Greetings, Angela!
Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I can't wait for your spooktacular
Halloween Time vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth.
You are so very lucky to be attending the
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure Park. It looks as though every evening of this event is officially sold out for the season! One of the highlights of this party for many Guests is the fact that they can dress in a Halloween costume which is typically prohibited for Guests 14 years of age and older on a normal day in the parks. While Disneyland Resort encourages creative costumes, they also value the safety of Guests and expect good judgement. The official rules state that "Costumes must be family friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable, or violent." Guests who do not meet these guidelines may be refused entry into the event. While there isn't an explicit rule regarding "fake blood" on costumes, you will want to use your best judgement to make sure your costume adheres to the guidelines above. This will ensure you will have a wonderful experience!
Make sure you take a look at all of the frightfully fun offerings for your party before you arrive. There will be unique and ghoulishly delightful Character meetings, entertainment, and plenty of tricks and treats. I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions.
Beware of hitchhiking ghosts!
