Does it cost💰to reload Disney gift cards?

Hello there, Jacob. Welcome to planDisney. I see that you are vacationing at Walt Disney World in just a few short days. I bet you are getting so excited!

Jacob, I think you'll be happy to know that there is not a fee to reload money onto a Disney Gift Card. You can reload your card for any dollar amount between $5.00 and $1000.00 as long as the card balance does not exceed $1000.00 when doing so. You are able to reload your Disney Gift Card in person at any Disney location that sells Disney Gift Cards. You are able to check the balance of your cards by calling the toll-free number on the back of your card or by visiting the Disney Gift Cards website. You'll need the account number for the card and the EAN.

While you are on vacation at Walt Disney World, you'll be able to use your Disney Gift Cards almost anywhere! I know there are perhaps a few vendor carts that aren't owned by Disney that do not accept them, however, I've not come across them in all of my travels to Walt Disney World.

Jacob, while you are visiting Walt Disney World the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will just be kicking off for this year. I hope you've scheduled some time in your itinerary to enjoy this festival. It's quickly becoming one of my very favorites throughout the year at EPCOT.

If you have any other questions about your Disney Gift Cards or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Have fun and enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
