What is the cost/price for the "Cancel for Any Reason" part of the protection plan for those in the states who can purchase that separately? Is it a percentage of the cruise price, or flat fee?

    Welcome to planDisney David!

While I do not know how the cost of the Vacation Protection Plan is calculated, I do know that the exact cost of it is clearly stated during the booking process. The quote to add the plan is shown, and you may accept or decline the coverage.

It is totally up to you whether or not to purchase the travel insurance. Please read through the details of the coverage to make sure it is what you are expecting, especially the "Cancel for any reason." Scroll to the bottom of the information page for details.

If you have any questions about adding on the Vacation Protection Plan, give a call to a friendly Disney Cruise Line agent who will be happy to explain the plan in detail.

Best wishes for a magical cruise as you sail with Captains Mickey and Minnie and their amazing crew. They can't wait to see you onboard real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
