How much does it cost for a 5 year old child ...thinking this time we will attend 3 parks maybe....we have a 2 yr old that will be 3 later this year do we need a ticket for her too ?

I am so excited that you've started to plan your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Roxann, I'll happily guide you to the correct place to locate ticket prices for children. It can be a little difficult to find if you're not familiar with the website. Follow along with the steps below and I will get you to the right place!

Before we get to the pricing location on the website, let me breakdown who will and won't need theme park tickets. Any child, ages 3 to 9, will require a valid children's theme park admission ticket to enter the Disney Parks. If your two-year-old is still two during the visit, a ticket will not be required. If your current two-year-old turns three prior to the visit, then that little Mouseketeer will need a ticket to get into the theme parks. Any person, ten and older, needs an adult ticket to enter the parks.

The price for a theme park ticket will vary based upon the time of year that you decide to visit. The more popular the season, the more you will pay for theme park tickets. If you're visiting at a time of year that isn't quite so in high-demand then the ticket prices will be a little lower.

Now, let's help you find the ticket pricing information on the website. When you get to the Walt Disney World Resort website, hover (don't click) your mouse over the heading that states, "Parks and Tickets." When the dropdown box appears, click "Theme Park Tickets." Scroll down, just a bit, to where you see a blue button that states, "Select" and click that button. You will come to a page that states, "Standard Theme Park Ticket." Follow the steps on the page to begin making your ticket selections. You'll select the number of park days for which you want to purchase tickets. You'll also select the first day that you want to begin visiting the parks! After you make your selections, a price quote will appear toward the bottom of the screen. You have now reached the point where you can enter how many children and adult tickets you wish to purchase! You will then see the price adjustment based upon the number of children and adult tickets that you enter! It takes a little bit of "clicking" to get there, but you'll be able to make your adjustments for child-priced tickets before committing to your purchase!

Roxann, purchase your tickets and Mickey will see ya' real soon! Your children (and you) are going to have such a wonderful time!
