Hi there, Steven! Welcome to planDisney from a fellow Floridian and Walt Disney World Annual Passholder!
Being part of the Annual Passholder family definitely has its perks, doesn't it? Between the discounts, the ability to hop to different parks in the same day, complimentary parking, and the convenience of not having to worry about tickets, it makes visiting the Walt Disney World Resort a breeze!
Normally, the best time to upgrade your Annual Pass is during your renewal window, which is up to 60 days before and 30 days after the expiration date of your pass. You can renew right in your
My Disney Experience account, and simply select the level of pass you'd like to purchase to complete your upgrade. However, with sales of new Walt Disney World Annual Passes still on hold, upgrades may be affected as well. Also, if you take a look at the
Admissions Calendar, you'll see a note that "the Platinum Plus Pass is no longer for sale." I'm not sure when or if this Annual Pass level will return, so I'd keep an eye on the
Parks and Tickets: Know Before You Go page on the Walt Disney World website for updates.
Steven, if you'd like more information on the status of Walt Disney World Annual Passes and when you may be able to upgrade, you can call the amazing Cast Members of
V.I.PASSHOLDER Support at (407) WDW-PASS. They're available exclusively for Annual Passholders like us who have questions about our passes, so I know they can help you, spit-spot!
Thank you so much for stopping by with your question, Steven. Fingers crossed that the Platinum Plus Pass comes back soon and you're able to enjoy even more Disney magic!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
