How much do it cost for two adults 13-year-old for a five day vacation at a resort at the Disney world in California?

    Hi there, Julian!

Welcome to planDisney! If you're planning a vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth, then you've come to the right place! We are a group of very enthusiastic Guests who love to use their knowledge to help others with their itinerary. Although I can't give you exact costs, I can point you in the right direction.

The easiest way to estimate the total cost for Theme Park Tickets and accommodations would be to price out a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package. This will bundle the costs together and you may select your choice of hotel and Park Ticket options. If there are any children aged 3-9 in your party, they may select a child's ticket (under 3 are free), otherwise everyone will need a standard ticket. The maximum is a 5-Day Ticket. You'll get the option of 1 Park Per Day or a Park Hopper ticket and then you'll need to choose if you want Genie+ included with your tickets.

I try to stay at an official Disneyland Resort Hotel whenever possible. There are a number of perks and benefits you get from staying onsite, like Early Entry. You may also choose to stay at any number of available Good Neighbor Hotels nearby. Each hotel will have a different price point, so I encourage you to look around and see what works for you and your family. My favorite onsite property is the Disneyland Hotel and my favorite Good Neighbor Hotel is the Candy Cane Inn

Have you considered seeking the services of an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner? They would be able to put together a package for you and would be able to include airfare and ground transportation as well. Food costs are always variable depending on your family's individual eating habits.

Fun Fact: When Disneyland Park first opened in 1955, there were only five hotels and two motels in Anaheim with a total of 87 rooms. As of last year, there are now 162 hotels and thousands of rooms for guests!

Julian, I hope that this was able to give you a start on planning your vacation to the Disneyland Resort! If you have further questions, we'd love to be involved, so please write back again if you need more information. You're always welcome at planDisney!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
