Cost of transportation from Orlando airport to Disney resort for DVC members

    Hi Patricia,

Welcome to planDisney! It's nearly the end of 2024 which means your Disney Vacation Club trip is just around the riverbend! You'll be settling in to your home away from home in no time.

For Guests flying into Orlando, there are several convenient options to complete the final leg of your journey to Walt Disney World Resort. Many choose to rent a vehicle or use a ride-share service like Uber or Lyft, while others opt for a third-party shuttle service such as Mears Connect. Shuttle services are often a budget-friendly way to reach your Disney Resort Collection hotel. Unfortunately, there are no discounts on travel from MCO for Disney Vacation Club Guests.

Mears Connect offers two service levels to suit your travel style: standard and express. The standard option may make a few stops along the way to drop off other passengers, while the express service provides a direct and faster route to your destination. If you’re considering a ride-share service like Uber or Lyft, prices can vary depending on the time of day. To get an idea of the cost, you can check the ride-share app a day or two before your arrival at the same time you'll be traveling. This will give you a ballpark estimate to help with your planning.

Since you're traveling in 2025,  I think you’ll be just as excited to know that Guests staying at any Disney Resorts Collection hotel in 2025 can enjoy complimentary water park admission on their check-in day.

Eligible Guests will see the Water Park Benefit conveniently listed under "Future Plans" in the My Disney Experience app. When you arrive at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park or Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, simply scan your MagicBand, Disney MagicMobile pass, or Key to the World Card for entry. It’s such a fantastic way to kick off your magical vacation!

Patricia, I hope this information helps with your travel planning. Have a wonderful stay at the Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any other DVC or vacation planning questions, let me know - I'm happy to assist!

    Welcome Home,
    Candace
