what is the cost of a ticket for under 10 years old

    Howdy, Donna!

Welcome to the magical world of planDisney, where this dedicated group of Disney-loving panelists is here to help answer questions and make your time at the Walt Disney World Resort extra special! It looks like you're in the beginning stages of planning your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth, so do keep us in mind as more questions arise during your planning journey!

Though this seems like an easy question on the surface, the answer is... It depends! I would need a few more details about your trip to give you an exact price, but instead, I'll break down the steps to finding the ticket prices using the Walt Disney World website. The first factor in ticket pricing is residency. Do you live in Florida? It doesn't look like it, but I always want to double-check. If the answer is "no," you'll select the option for Standard Theme Park Tickets. The second factor- how many days do you plan to visit the parks? You'll choose the number of park days in the small blue circles. Also, note that the pricing is shown below the number of days. This is just a starting point, as final pricing will depend on the exact days you select. If you want to do a little bargain shopping and find the most budget-friendly date to visit, you can go ahead and select just one day to play around with the pricing.

Next, select your ticket type. Do you plan to visit just one park each day, or would you like the option to switch parks after 2 p.m. with the Park Hopper Option? Would you like to visit water parks? If so, then you'll want to select the Park Hopper Plus Option. Take your time reading through what each ticket option entails and then choose the one that is best for you! Finally, select an exact date you plan to visit using the calendar at the bottom of the page. If you do not already have a specific date in mind, this allows you to compare pricing for different days of the week and months of the year. Once you click on a date on the calendar, scroll down just a bit and add the ticket for Ages 3-9 to see the potential cost of the ticket with all of the options you selected.

Donna, I hope this helps narrow down ticket pricing for you a little more! It is important to keep in mind that ticket pricing is subject to change. Also, park reservations are now required at Walt Disney World. Any Guests entering the theme parks must have a reservation, which can be made using the Disney Park Pass Reservation System. You can take a look before purchasing tickets to make sure your preferred date is available, then make the reservation once the tickets are purchased.

    Happy planning!
