    Hi Greg,

    Great question! Given that Disney buses do not travel directly from resort to resort, it is often a lot quicker to utilize a taxi service instead of heading to Disney Springs or a park first and switching to a different bus to get to the resort of your choice. Mears taxi cars are one of the many companies that you will see at Walt Disney World Resort. They offer an online taxi estimator which is great for planning purposes. Traveling from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside to the Contemporary Resort will cost approximately $22 plus tip. When heading to the Contemporary Resort, you may want to take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then either walk to the Contemporary (which will take less than 5 minutes), or jump on the Resort Monorail. It is just a short walk from the Magic Kingdom bus stop over to the ramp to ride the monorail.
