Hey there, Tonya! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for sharing your delicious dining plan question with us.
Dining and snacks are an important part of the Walt Disney World vacation experience for my family. We have a tradition where everyone, including my 5-year-old, gets to pick a restaurant during our stay, so the Disney Dining Plan is helpful in vacation budgeting and planning. You never know when your kiddo will decide to switch things up and choose Chefs de France over Casey’s Corner!
The current cost of the standard
Disney Dining Plan is $98.59 per adult per night of stay (prices are subject to change), and currently, there is a dining deal for 2026 where kids ages 3 to 9 years old can eat for free. To qualify for the deal, you just have to have a reservation at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and a dining plan for each guest ages 10 and up. You can find more information
here. The standard Disney Dining Plan includes:
- 1 Quick-Service Meal (per night of stay)
- 1 Table-Service Meal (per night of stay)
- 1 Snack/Nonalcoholic Drink (per night of stay)
- 1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug
One of my favorite ways to use the Disney Dining Plan is to book
character dining experiences. Not only does this ensure we have a break and a chance to relax, but it also opens up more time in our theme park day for rides and shows. Some of my favorite character dining experiences include
Tusker House at Animal Kingdom, Hollywood and Vine at Hollywood Studios, and 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian Resort. These restaurants all currently cost 1 table service credit (some locations require 2 credits), so they're a good value as well.
I hope this info helps with your trip planning, Tonya. Pop right back if you have any other questions or need additional dining recommendations. Your planDisney pals are always here to help.
Magical travels!
Matt
