Hiya, Mary, and welcome to
planDisney!
It sounds like you’re planning to visit the
Happiest Place on Earth during the Holiday season, which just so happens to be my favorite time of the year there! I can’t wait for you to experience the magic of the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort… from the delicious themed treats to the beautiful holiday décor and festive attraction overlays, there’s so much to see and do!
When you’re ready to purchase your
theme park tickets, you’ll see that the pricing is broken down into two categories – one for children ages 3-9, and one for Guests ages 10+. So, it looks like you’ll fall into that latter category of 10+. Simply select that age bracket for your tickets, and you’ll be able to discover the price for your chosen date. The price will vary based on the day you select and which type of ticket you choose – One Park Per Day, or Park Hopper. With the Park Hopper, you can visit both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park on the same day, while with the One Park Per Day option, you’ll select one theme park for your entire day. If you select a Park Hopper, the system will ask you to select a “starting park” that you’ll begin your day at, and then after 1:00 PM, you’ll be able to “hop” on over to the other theme park.
Though the Disneyland Resort doesn’t currently offer any discounts for senior citizens, I recommend checking out the
Offers & Discounts page in case any of the current promotions may apply to you or a member of your family or group. Currently, there are discounts available to Magic Key Holders, U.S. Military Members, Disney Premier Visa Cardmembers, and more.
I hope this information helps, Mary! Please stop by with any additional planning questions… we’re all EARs!
Wishing you magic,
Kristin
