Running around the Walt Disney World Resort can feel a bit daunting when you have mobility issues. My family has definitely had to come up with solutions to meet our needs. Luckily for all of us, the Walt Disney World Resort makes zooming around the property as easy as can be with ECV and
wheelchair rentals.
ECV rentals are offered at all 4 Disney Theme Parks, both water parks, and Disney Springs. Current pricing at the 4 parks is sitting at $65 a day with a $20 refundable deposit, and $65 a day with a $100 refundable deposit at
both water parks and
Disney Springs. Rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis and must stay within the confines of the place they were rented from. If you plan on utilizing the
Park Hopper Option during your vacation, you would return your ECV, head to your next Disney Destination, and show your receipt to the Cast Member at the rental location of that park. Cynthia, I should tell you that if you're looking for something to keep with you for the entire duration of your trip, consider using ScooterBug, a Disney Feature Provider. You can have your ECV delivered directly to your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and take it with you as you travel on all forms of
Resort Transportation.
