Is there a cost for the rides in each of the parks ie "Dumbo" etc? I have never been so Im not sure how all this works.

Hi, Liz! Congratulations on your first visit to Walt Disney World (WDW)! For each theme park, there is a cost of admission per day which covers the attractions and entertainment.  You may be thinking of the ticket structure for WDW back in the 1970s and 80s when there was only one theme park and the tickets and attractions were "graded" on a letter scale -- "A" to "E" -- with a corresponding price per ticket.

Now that WDW includes four theme parks and two water parks, you can buy park tickets (Magic Your Way Tickets) in day increments with several options:

    1. Park Hopper -- This allows you to visit multiple parks in one day.
    2. Water Park Fun & More -- Water park admission can be added to your theme park tickets -- plus, Disney's indoor interactive theme park at Downtown Disney, DisneyQuest.
    3. No expiration -- You can extend the life of your tickets for a future visit.

So the short answer is "no," Liz....there isn't a separate price for each of the attractions at the theme parks, and I hope that my ticket tutorial has helped you plan. Come back if you have more questions...that's what we're here for! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
