    Does the cost of renting an ECV go down later in the day?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jill!

    The price for Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECV) Rentals is the same no matter what time you rent the unit. ECVs are rented on a first come, first-served basis and availability is limited. Also, keep in mind that EVCs must remain the area where rented. So if you rent one in Epcot, and plan to eat dinner at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, then you must leave the ECV at the International Gateway rental location. You can have them hold ECV if plan to return later that day.  

    You are welcome to rent a unit from an outside source for use during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I have rented an ECV several times for my mom and found the prices to be reasonable. My mom likes the flexibility of taking her ECV all over the resort, including the Resort Monorail, Walt Disney World Bus Service and Water Transportation.
