Hi, is there a cost for receiving magic bands if you are staying on Disney property? I didn't see anywhere on My Disney Experience that specified, but another tips site i was surfing stated they were $12.95 per person?? Please clarify, Thanks!

    Hi Jennifer,

Good news: All guests who are staying in a Walt Disney World resort receive complimentary MagicBands. If you have made a reservation already, just sign into your My Disney Experience account and link to the MagicBands & Cards section.

There you should see a prompt to customize your MagicBands. I don't believe MagicBands are currently being shipped in advance to Canada, but yours should be waiting for you when you check in. No charge!

Guests who are not staying at a Walt Disney World resort now can purchase MagicBands for about $12.95. There also are some specially decorated MagicBands available for purchase.

I hope that clarifies the situation for you. Please let me know if I can do anything else to help as you finalize our plans. Enjoy!
