Ahoy there, Charles! Welcome aboard, planDisney!
I’m ecstatic that you’re considering booking the photo package on your upcoming Disney cruise, because there are so many incredible photos to be taken around the ship! Whenever I sail on a Disney cruise, I always book the unlimited photo package, as it can be a huge money saver if purchased before your cruise, and you plan on buying many of them onboard. I'm always astounded by the amount of photos that I leave him with at the end of our cruise!
As for the exact cost, it does vary by sailing and time period. To find the exact price for your cruise, once your
booking window opens, log into “My Reservations” and then “My Plans”. Tap “Onboard Fun” for Day 1 of your cruise, and you will get the option to book the
unlimited photo package. This is where you can see the cost to purchase all the photos taken during your cruise.
I recommend booking
before your sailing, as, once it becomes three days before your cruise, you will no longer have the option to pre-book it, and the cost does go up once onboard. My other suggestion? Take as many photos as you can! The Cast Members are amazing at their job, and will make sure you look amazing, as well as take some memorable photos at each station! Sometimes there will even be special photo props, Character Experiences, Magic Shots, and photo sessions in special locations, which are all included in the photo package. Details of these photo sessions are available once onboard, in the “Daily Schedule” of the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App.
If you have any questions about your cruise photos once on board your cruise, such as how to access them on your phone and how to download them afterwards, the
Shutters Photo Studio will have all the answers.
Charles, I hope you have a memorable cruise and capture magical photos that will last a lifetime! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any other questions.
See ya real soon,
Rana
