What does it cost per adult and per child for the dining plan?

Greetings, Dawn! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. It sounds like you are considering using one of the Dining Plans offered by the Walt Disney World Resort on an upcoming vacation. Great choice - I love knowing that all of my meals have been paid for before my vacation even starts. Not only that, but dining in Walt Disney World is part of the fun! Some Disney restaurants are just as themed and exciting as the theme park attractions.

As you plan, do keep in mind that all prices and inclusions for all plans are subject to change. Please call (407) 939-5277 for up to date pricing. I spoke with a Cast Member for prices as of today. The prices I received include tax but do not include gratuity, which is automatically added when using a dining plan. Currently, Walt Disney World offers are three different types of dining plans, only available to guests of Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.

If your family is looking for an on-the-go meal plan that’s quick and simple, you will want to consider the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. We prefer to use this plan when our itinerary includes a lot of time experiencing attractions in the theme parks, and less time sitting down to dine. Currently, for 2020, (and again these prices are subject to change) this plan costs $55 per night for adults and $26 per night for children ages 3-9.

To add a table-service experience to your dining adventures each day, consider the Disney Dining Plan. This plan offers unparalleled service and cuisine with a touch of Disneymagic, in addition to enjoying on-the-go meals and snacks. My family likes to use this plan when we have some character dining on our itinerary, as these meals are a fantastic value when using the Disney Dining Plan. Advanced Dining Reservationsat table-service restaurants are subject to availability, and prices are subject to change, but as of today, the cost for this plan is $78.01 per night for an adult and $30.51 for a child.

Finally, for a truly fabulous culinary adventure, there is nothing quite like the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. This plan allows you and your family to sit back and relax at multiple table-service establishments in one day, if you so choose.  The current cost for this plan, subject to change, is $119 per night for an adult and $47.50 per night for a child.

I hope this helps in your planning, Dawn. If you have any other questions about managing your trip or dining in Walt Disney World, please come back and see us again. We on the Disney Parks Moms Panel LOVE to talk about Disney food!

    Bon appétit!

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two.
