Hello James,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. It sounds like you might be starting to plan a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and that's great to hear.
The short answer to your question about the price of
Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets for Guests ages 3-9 is simply this: the ticket price will depend on when you're visiting and for how many days.
Let me share a bit more information in hopes that it's helpful.
Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket prices can be viewed online when you go to the
Theme Park Tickets website page. The important note to keep in mind is that theme park ticket pricing is date-based. You'll want to go through the first few steps with the ticket purchasing tools to see ticket prices for when you wish to visit, and then one more quick step to see ticket prices for Guests ages 3-9.
Start by selecting the number of days you wish to visit the theme parks. This step is important because the ticket prices for multi-day tickets get lower on a per-day price with the more days you add to the ticket.
Next you'll select the ticket type. The standard ticket is a 1 Park Per Day ticket. As its name suggests, the ticket gives you theme park admission to one theme park in a day. You could choose to add on ticket options such as the
Park Hopper Option which gives you admission to more than one theme park in a day. You'll also see other options for adding admission to a water park or admission to fun sports activities like miniature golf.
You'll see an interactive calendar that prompts you to "Choose the First Day" of your ticket. What you should notice here is the date-based pricing. The ticket prices will be different depending on the month and the day that you choose to visit the theme parks.
After you choose the first day for your theme park visit, you'll be prompted to "Select the Number of Tickets." This is the step where you'll see the answer to your question -- the ticket pricing both for Guests ages 10+ and for Guests ages 3-9. Keep in mind that little ones under the age of 3 do not need a theme park admission.
I hope this gives you the information you're looking for, James. In addition to buying tickets online and through the
My Disney Experience mobile app, you can always contact the Walt Disney World Resort ticketing team to purchase new theme park tickets by calling them at (407) 939-7679.
One quick tip, James, is that you'll want to be sure to look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar. Guests will need both a theme park admission and a theme park reservation to enter their first theme park in a day. This calendar will help you see if the theme parks you want to visit have available reservations. You can then use the
Disney Park Pass system to make your theme park reservations.
As you are making your plans to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, please do come back and ask us your questions. The planDisney panelists are happy to help you with ideas and suggestions.
Here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort visit!
