Now, when it comes to shipping your lightsaber home within the United States, you’ll be happy to know that Guests are more than welcome to do so! Many travelers choose this option, especially if they’re concerned about fitting such a unique (and long) souvenir into their luggage. The Cast Members at Savi’s Workshop are used to helping with this process and will make sure your Jedi (or First Order) relic is safely and securely prepared for its journey home.
As for pricing, there isn’t a flat fee since the cost of shipping depends on several factors, including the final destination, the time of year, and the total weight and size of your package. Because of this, the best way to get an accurate estimate is to ask a Cast Member at the time of purchase. They’ll be able to calculate the cost based on your shipping address and provide a detailed quote before you decide whether to send it home or carry it with you.
If you’re planning to fly, you’ll also be pleased to know that most airlines allow Guests to bring their lightsabers as carry-on items, though policies can vary, so it’s worth double-checking with your specific airline before you travel.
