When is the most cost friendly time of the year to go to Disneyworld, for a family of 5?

    Hello, Aleisa!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I totally understand your question because I am a budget-conscious dad who works very hard to get the most out of my MAGICAL Walt Disney World vacations with seven family members!

I have found the most cost-effective times of the year to visit Walt Disney World would be middle to late January and the September through early October time frame. My family always tries to plan our Disney vacations during the month of September. We do this for several reasons.  First, we have found the crowds are consistently lower during this time. Second, the weather is still warm, so you are able to enjoy the pool and water parks.  (While the pools are heated in January, the weather is still on the cold side.) Third, we have found the prices to be more economical.

I hope this information helps in your planning. If you have other questions, please let us know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
