Hi Eric, and welcome to planDisney! We’re so happy you’re here and sent in your question. It sounds like you are in the early stages of planning a wonderful getaway with a large group, so let’s take a look at some ways to save on a budget!
The cost of your package will be based upon a number of factors, including dates, resort hotel, room type, and ticket type. You will also have the option to add a dining plan, if you’d like. Since packages offer so many different ways to customize what is exactly right for you, it would be hard for me to give you a price range. However, what I
can do is give you some tips on how to save and choose a package that will give you a magical vacation!
Resort hotels: For the best savings, you’ll want to consider the
Value Resorts. These offer fun, larger-than-life theming and a fully immersive Disney experience while giving you the best pricing on hotel rooms at the Walt Disney World Resort. In this group, your options are Disney’s All-Star Movies, Disney’s All-Star Sports, Disney’s All-Star Music, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. The All-Star resorts will be the most budget-conscious among these choices. All-Star Movies is my favorite!
Room type: With a group your size, you might benefit from considering the family suites. These are available at both All-Star Music and Art of Animation. While a standard room can sleep four adults plus a child under age 3 in a portable crib, the family suites can sleep up to six adults plus a child in a portable crib. Having at least one family suite plus a standard room will reduce the number of total rooms you’ll need.
Dates: It looks like you are planning a visit for February, so that is a wonderful time of year for savings! You can often find lower rates on both hotels and tickets in late January and early February. This is also usually when the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is happening, so it's an amazing time to visit!
Park tickets: Since you plan to visit all four theme parks, I would recommend choosing one park per day. By doing this, you will not need to pay for the additional
Park Hopper option on your theme park tickets. With a group of this size, that can add up to big savings. Also, any child under age 3 in your group does not need a park ticket!
Eric, one other thing I want to mention is that packages for 2027 have not yet been released, but that should be happening very soon. It could be any day now! When those are released, we may see some great special offers that will help you save even more. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, where that announcement should drop first.
I hope this helps as you start making plans for your magical Walt Disney World vacation! If you have any more questions,
stop back by and see me. I would be delighted to continue helping you plan a vacation that is “practically perfect in every way!”
With faith, trust, & pixie dust,
Casey
