    Would it be cost effective to just got tickets for the Mickey xmas party and go into the park at 4pm or get a ticket for the whole day

    Hey Daren!

    When we attend the special parties like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, we take the morning off to relax at our resort or hang out at Downtown Disney.  The party runs until midnight and we feel better knowing we're relaxed and ready to go from taking the morning off.   We will enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4pm and experience a few attractions and eat an early dinner.  Once the party starts at 7pm, we're ready to focus on all of the party activities and have a magical night.  So my suggestion is to enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4pm with your party ticket and save the extra expense of all-day park tickets.
