How cost effective if we want to stay at a value resort the first 4 days then upgrade to a deluxe resort the last 4 days? Do alot of people do this? 2 nd trip hopwefully in October 2011.

    Hi Sean,

Welcome to the Moms Panel, great question!  This is actually a very common practice, many people switch their resorts mid-vacation to make the most of their experiences.  You certainly have the right idea staying at the value resort first, so you can get the full appreciation for the upgrade!

However, I would consider staying at one of the great moderate resorts for the entire stay.  This will probably work out about the same cost wise as the value + deluxe total, and eliminates the hassle and vacation interruption required to switch resorts.  My favorite moderate is Coronado Springs Resort, it is simply breathtaking and definitely has a deluxe feel in my opinion.

    Hope this helps!
