How much does it cost to have 2 dogs in a pet friendly hotel?

Ruff, woof, bark Morgan! That’s pup-speak for hello and welcome to planDisney!

My 4-legged friends are my best pals, and I am always sniffing out pet-friendly accommodations when I travel. Bringing Bluey and her sister Bingo to Walt Disney World would have their tails wagging and ready for adventure!

Right now, four Walt Disney World Resort hotels roll out the welcome mat for Fido and Pluto. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, and The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort - A Disney Vacation Resort, have a $50 per night plus tax pet fee. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort has a $75 per night plus tax charge.

You can have up to two dogs per room, and there are a few paw-sitive rules to keep in mind. Dogs should be well behaved, leashed in public areas, and up to date on vaccinations. You may be asked to show vet records, so add those to your packing list and you’ll be good to go!

Dogs, aside from certified service animals, are not allowed in the theme parks or water parks, or in common areas like pools, restaurants, and recreation spaces. You’ll want a game plan to make sure your best fur-ever friends are cared for while you are out exploring. There is an on-site Pet Boarding facility that offers round the clock care for your furry friends, which is a great option for peace of mind while out adventuring!

The Help Center on the Walt Disney World website has plenty of helpful details on booking pet-friendly rooms. You can also call a friendly Cast Member at (407) 939-5277 and they’ll help you fetch exactly what you need.

My planDisney pals have filmed some paw-some full resort walk-throughs, which are a great way to spot whether a resort is the right fit for your pack. Check out the Disney Parks YouTube channel and search for the hotels you’re interested in to see if there’s a walk-through available!

Morgan, I hope your day is anything but ruff, and that you and your pups have a magical visit! Trot back over if we can help with any other questions!
