Hello Lori!
Welcome to planDisney!
Dining plans are such a convenient way of having meals pre-paid and ready to be enjoyed on a Walt Disney World vacation. As an Annual Passholder, adding a dining plan to your stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection is possible. However, it has to be added on via a phone call with
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations. It's a little bit more work but worth it if you have some special meals planned!
You are interested in the
Disney Dining Plan which includes one table-service meal, one quick-service meal, and one snack per night of your stay. There is, unfortunately, no dining plan option with two snacks per day. The Disney Dining Plan also includes a Resort-Refillable Drink Mug for you to use during your stay. There is no
Annual Passholder discount for dining plans at this time so the price is the same as it is for everyone else. The cost is approximately $94.28 per day for an adult and $26.69 for kids ages 3 to 9. (prices are subject to change) Tax is included in the meal and snack purchase while using dining plans but gratuity is not. Did you know that many restaurants offer a 10% discount while others like
Morimoto Asia have a 20% discount for Annual Passholders? Morimoto Asia is interesting in that for Lunch, only one Table-Service meal is used with the dining plan, but two Table-Service meals are needed for dinner. The value of the dining plan can change depending on the type of meal and location! To see details about the dining plan and menu prices, visit each
restaurant's page. I suggest that when deciding to add the dining plan to your package consider the true cost of your planned meals and whether the restaurants you are interested in visiting offer Annual Passholder discounts.
I hope this helps and you have a delicious time!
Happy Planning!
