Welcome to planDisney, Lisa!
Thank you for stopping by with a question about your upcoming trip to
Disney World - your countdown is nearly complete! When it comes to planning a trip to Disney, my head often goes right to dining. In the planning stages, I love poring over restaurant menus and planning where my family might dine. The
Disney dining plans are a great way to experience a variety of restaurants while sticking to a budget.
Two types of dining plans can be added to a Disney Resort hotel stay: the
Disney Dining Plan and the
Quick-Service Dining Plan. Currently, for less than $99 per adult, per night, Guests can choose to add the 2026 Disney Dining Plan that includes one Quick-Service meal, one Table-Service meal, one snack or non-alcoholic beverage per night and a refillable resort mug (coffee, tea, soft drinks). The Quick-Service Dining Plan is just under $61 per adult, per night and includes two Quick-Service meals, one snack or non-alcoholic beverage per night and a refillable resort mug. And to make things even better: for 2026, kids ages 3-9 receive a free dining plan with the purchase of one adult dining plan!
For Dining Plans holders, advance dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance of your check-in day for the duration of your stay (up to 10 days). I like making my family's reservations right on my phone through the
My Disney Experience Mobile app, but you can also use a desktop computer and hop on the Disney World website.
I hope this information is helpful to your vacation planning, Lisa. If you have any other questions as your vacation approaches, please revisit
