What is cost for child age 5 to go to theme park with Florida resident?

Hello, Bonita, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm always happy to help a fellow Floridian plan a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

You might feel a bit like Alice wandering around Wonderland when searching for tickets for your family's Walt Disney World adventure. There's a lot of information to process, but we can help you find what you're looking for.

To find the price of a child's ticket on the Walt Disney World website, start by logging in to your My Disney Experience account. That will ensure you're getting prices for Florida resident tickets. Then go to the Admission and Tickets page and choose the tickets you want to buy. After that, you'll choose a date in the calendar. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll see the amounts for both adult tickets and for children ages 3-9 for that day.

I checked the posted prices for your arrival date in October, and the cost for children ages 3-9 was $5 less for a 1-Day ticket, and about $10 less for a 3- or 4-Day ticket. You definitely get more value from purchasing multiple days.

And Bonita, if you decide you want to extend your adventure, you can upgrade to a Florida Resident Annual Pass! As long as you have one unused day left on your tickets, you can apply the full amount to an Annual Pass for a whole year of Disney magic! Just stop by Guest Relations to find out what your options are.

I hope this helps you plan lots of wonderful Disney days with your little Mouseketeer, Bonita. Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
