Royal Greetings, Joseph!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for stopping by with your question. How exciting that your magical family vacation is just around the riverbend. It sounds like you are visiting with younger Mouseketeers. As a mom of three who has visited Walt Disney World with my kids since they were infants (they are preteens and teens now), I know how important reliable childcare is when you are hoping to enjoy a nice dinner or activity better suited for grown-up kids.
Joseph, Walt Disney World doesn't offer childcare services at this time. However, there are a couple of trusted and reliable options for childcare for your little prince or princess.
The Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel offers
Camp Dolphin for little ones aged five through 12 until 11:00 p.m. (subject to change.) During their visit, your Mousketeers will enjoy making crafts, playing games with other friends, and can even have dinner. Located close to EPCOT, it's a great spot if you are planning to enjoy a nice dinner in the World Showcase, at the BoardWalk, or even in Disney Springs. Camp Dolphin is not operated by Disney. To make a required advanced reservation or for pricing, you can
contact them directly.Alternatively, many families have used Kids Nite Out, which is a vacation babysitting service in Orlando that sends caregivers to you. They are not affiliated with Disney; however, they do come to Disney Resort Hotels to care for children ages six weeks to 12 years old, including children with special needs. While our family has not used this service in Orlando, we have used something similar in Hawaii with great success. Kids Nite Out is not affiliated with Disney, so you would need to contact them directly for pricing and to book the service.
Now, if you have
young ones, remember that Walt Disney World has over 100 Any Height Attractions kids of all ages can enjoy. And, if you would like to enjoy attractions for which they aren't quite tall enough, I recommend
Rider Switch, where you and the other adult in your party can take turns riding the attraction without having to wait in the Standby Line twice. The
Baby Care Centers in each of the theme parks are also great places for taking a break, using the restroom (they have kid-sized potties and changing tables), feeding, or just taking a moment out of the heat.
I hope this helps you, Joseph! Remember, a dream is a wish your heart makes when you're fast asleep. But if you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true.
Have fun making magical memories!
Keri
