Hi there, Myra!
Thanks for stopping back by
planDisney. We're so happy you're here!
I see that you're headed to Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days. Before you know it, you'll be walking down Main Street, U.S.A. with a Mickey-shaped snack in hand as Cinderella Castle shines in the distance. Can you believe it?!? There's no time to waste, so let's get right to your question.
I'm a firm believer that The Most Magical Place on Earth is made even more magical when shared with those you love most, so adding another Mouseketeer to your Disney Resort hotel room sounds like a great idea to me! Because the rates aren't posted, I reached out to a friendly Cast Member for assistance. She helpfully shared that when more than two adults stay in a Disney Resort hotel room, there will be an additional charge per adult per night, and the amount of this charge varies based on the tier of the Resort you are calling your magical home away from home. It's important to keep in mind that pricing is always subject to change, but at this time, the fees are as follows:
- Value Resorts - $20 (plus tax) per additional adult per night
- Moderate Resorts - $25 (plus tax) per additional adult per night
- Deluxe & Deluxe Villa Resorts - $30 (plus tax) per additional adult per night
If you decide you would like to add an additional Guest to your reservation, you can typically do so
online through My Disney Experience or by calling the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and Tickets line. Oh, and while we're on the subject of Disney Resort hotels, don't forget that Guests currently receive complimentary entry to a Walt Disney World water park on their check-in day in addition to
all of the other benefits available (like early theme park entry).
I hope this was helpful, Myra, and that your upcoming vacation is filled with magical memories.
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
