I cosleep with my toddler and am wondering if the matress from the table bed at the Art of Animation Resort can be moved to the floor for safety.

    Hi there, Katia!

I'd like to welcome you to planDisney and thank you for stopping by with your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm so excited to hear that you'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth with your little one in just a few short weeks! You and your toddler will soon experience a trip filled with wonder and enchantment. The countdown is on!

Katia, I think Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a perfect choice of Disney Resort hotel for your upcoming vacation. My preschool-age son absolutely loved our recent stay there and frequently asks to return to the "Little Mermaid hotel!" The immersive, larger-than-life Disney character icons, awe-inspiring themed swimming pools, and easy access to the Disney Skyliner make this Resort hotel a fan-favorite among little ones. Katia, there's nothing sweeter than snuggling up to your little one in a cozy Disney bed. (In fact, my son and I just returned from an incredible stay at the Disneyland Hotel and enjoyed cuddling under the "fireworks" in the headboard each night!) I've confirmed with a Cast Member that the mattresses may not be moved to the floor due to fire safety reasons, but Guests may request bed rails upon check-in to ensure safe sleep for even the littlest Mouseketeers. I hope you and your tiny traveler will rest comfortably knowing that this option exists!

If you haven't already, I encourage you to check out the Walt Disney World Resort planning guide available to parents of little ones. This helpful resource provides specialized suggestions for attractions, restaurants, and more! Katia, be sure to take advantage of the Baby Care Centers in the theme parks - these are great spaces for a mid-day rest, snack time, or potty break. I also recommend participating in Remy's Ratatouille Hide & Squeak - a fun (and super cute!) scavenger hunt available during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. This activity is a great way to get even the youngest world travelers involved in an exciting day at EPCOT!

Katia, I hope you find these suggestions helpful as you continue to plan an unforgettable Walt Disney World Resort vacation for your little one. If you have any additional planning questions, please feel free to swing back by planDisney again anytime! We're here to help you make magical vacation memories.

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
