Am I correct that a 2020 (table seating) is no longer an option with the Disney Dining Plan? I only find quick serving when I go to make reservations for our Disney vacation in March.

    Hi Wayne!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am happy to see you planning ahead for your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort in March.

My family loves to use one of the Disney Dining Plans and typically uses the Disney Dining Plan or the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan on our vacations. Both of these plans still provide access to table-service meals. So, first, double-check the type of plan you have since the Quick-Service Dining Plan only provides access to quick-service meals (in addition to any snack and drink allotments that may be included as part of your package along with the resort refillable mug).

To check which restaurants accept which dining plan, review the restaurant list. There should be a column that designates the type of restaurant for each location. Then, to see if a restaurant accepts a dining plan, click on the website of each restaurant you would like to visit. From the website's home page, you should be able to click on a link that says "Some Dining Plans Accepted" if that restaurant accepts a dining plan. Once you click on that link, a pop-up chart should appear that lets you know how many and which type of dining plan entitlements are required at the restaurant. One of our favorite restaurants for breakfast is Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at Epcot. The current pop-up dining plan chart indicates that this restaurant will require one table-service entitlement for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Keep in mind that some restaurants may show limited availability at this point before your trip because guests can make dining reservations at 180 days prior to their visit. If a restaurant shows no availability when you try making reservations, I suggest that you keep checking. On our most recent trip in December, we used the Disney Deluxe dining plan and although I made reservations at 180 days prior, I also made several modifications just before and during our trip.

Wayne, remember that you can use the My Disney Experience Mobile App to track your dining plan entitlements, make additional dining reservations, cancel or make changes to existing dining reservations.

    Happy Planning!

    Magic and memories,
