Hi, Jackson! Welcome to planDisney.
I’m so glad you asked about
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. I stayed here a few years ago and it quickly became one of my favorite hotels. The resort has such a unique blend of Spanish, Mexican, and Southwest American design, and the Gran Destino Tower really takes it up a notch. The tower feels modern and elegant, with stunning views and beautiful details throughout. Whether you’re grabbing a bite at
Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood or just enjoying the stylish lobby, it’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for something a little extra without stepping up to a deluxe resort.
Coronado Springs does have a great fitness center called
La Vida Health Club, and you’ll find amenities like a steam room and massage services there. But it doesn’t currently offer a traditional sauna. Still, the resort has plenty of ways to unwind, from the quiet pools to the amazing Dig Site pool with the Mayan pyramid. In fact, the main pool has the biggest whirlpool spa on property—fitting up to 22 people! It's a great place to loosen up those aching muscles after a day at the parks.
One of my favorite ways to start the day here is to grab a coffee from
Barcelona Lounge inside Gran Destino Tower. The café con leche is a must-try! Then take a quiet walk around Lago Dorado, the lake that sits in the center of the resort. The views in the morning are gorgeous, and it’s such a peaceful way to begin your Disney day.
I hope that's helpful, Jackson. See ya real soon!
Mike
