Hello Cares!
Welcome to planDisney! I love
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and I consider the Gran Destino Tower to be one of my favorite places to stay. It is gorgeous and there are so many delicious
dining options. One of my favorite things to do is pick up a Café Bombon from
Barcelona Lounge to start my day. It's strong and sweet- like all moms.
I reached out to Guest Services today and spoke to a lovely Cast Member who stated that there are only beverage coolers in the rooms right now. They cannot freeze anything, however. I found that it holds items at 41 degrees Fahrenheit and above. That could likely defrost any frozen breastmilk you are transporting. She recommended that you contact Guest Services or the Front Desk and ask for refrigerators. These refrigerators will come with a small freezer compartment. It may be very small however so I would keep that in mind. Consider using bags of ice that you can create with help from the complimentary ice machines. In Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, there are ice machines on every floor of the tower and in every one of the other buildings. I like to travel with Ziploc bags normally and find them great for packing in a lot of ice to help keep things icy cold without any leaks. There are no real breastmilk storage options in the Parks so make sure that if bringing them with you for the day you have a good insulated cooler and re-usable ice packs. Loose ice and dry ice are not permitted in the Parks as per the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules. The cooler cannot be larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high, as well. You can warm the bags and make any bottles in the
Baby Care Centers located in each of the Parks and have a quiet place for any feeds.
I hope that this helps and you can safely bring and store your liquid gold.
Happy Planning!
