Does Coronado Springs still accept fax room requests? If so, what is the current number, I can't seem to get through.

Hey there, hi there, Destiny! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with another great vacation planning question. I love chatting Disney with my pals, pal!

Well, you are someone after my own Disney planning heart, Destiny! I love writing instead of chatting on the phone (I think I found my perfect gig here!), and when I have an upcoming stay at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, I have been known to send a little note to the Resort via fax to let them know how excited I am to stay there and occasionally, to make a room request. My family and I just stayed at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort earlier this month, and as always, we had the best stay there. With the endless fantastic dining options, beautiful grounds, awesome Resort activities and oh-so-fun pool, it's the perfect home away from home right in the middle of the magic. With so much to do all around the Resort, there truly are no bad rooms at Coronado Springs Resort, but I'm more than happy to help you add a room request to your upcoming magical Resort reservation.

As far as I know, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort still accepts faxed room requests from Guests, and the fax number is (407) 939-1001. I usually send my room request seven to ten days before my check-in date, and I make sure to include my name, check-in and out dates, room type that was booked, my Resort reservation number, and my request. I usually try to keep it to one or two requests and make the requests fairly general, such as which section of the Resort I'd prefer or requesting the upper floor versus the ground floor. Just keep in mind that a room request is not guaranteed and will be granted based on availability.

If you are still having trouble sending your fax request, I recommend calling a Cast Member with Disney Resort Hotel Reservations at (407) 939-1936 to add your request to your Resort reservation. Lately, I have been having success with requests made this way! But again, just remember that your requests cannot be guaranteed. I'll be wishing upon a star that your wish is granted!

While there is seriously so much to love about Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, I MUST share my favorite (and yummiest) things about this Resort (in no particular order):
    1. Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Villa del Lago, including Sangria University here on Saturdays and Sundays
    2. The Cafe Bombon (espresso and sweetened condensed milk - YUM!) from Barcelona Lounge on the first floor of Gran Destino Tower
    3. Giant donuts at El Mercado de Coronado
    4. Nachos at Siestas Cantina
    5.  Roasted marshmallows (complimentary!) from the campfire near the pool at the Dig Site
    ENJOY!

Destiny, I hope this was helpful, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable vacation in only TWO weeks! Eeek! So exciting! Please stop by any time with any other questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon,

    Mandy
