Hi Kristina,
Welcome to planDisney! You’ve made some great choices with your dining selections. I’ve enjoyed
Chef Mickey’s and
Crystal Palace in the past. Since they’re both in the Magic Kingdom area, sometimes I choose between the two options based on which characters my family wants to meet!
When you book one of these dining options, you should have the chance to note any allergies within your party. Upon checking in to the restaurant, you should receive an allergy-friendly menu listing which items on the buffet are safe for certain allergies. You can also request to speak to a Cast Member from the Special Diets team to review each item and discuss any options that can be prepared separately for your party. You might find allergy guides posted online by other Guests who have dined at that location, but restaurant offerings are subject to change, so they might not be accurate. If you or anyone in your party has 4 or more allergy requests,
reach out to the Special Diets team so they can assist you.
I’m sure you have a process for handling your allergies when dining at restaurants, but the Walt Disney World website shares
four important steps when dining in Disney World with allergies. First, tell the Cast Member assisting your party about your allergy restrictions. Next, request a special allergy menu or guide for the restaurant. Orders prepared for allergy requests will be delivered with a special marker, so the third step is to make sure the food delivered to your table has the special marker. Finally, verify your order with the Cast Member to confirm that the item brought to your table has been prepared according to your needs.
Based on your arrival date, your
booking window for dining should be open! I hope you get all the reservations you are hoping for! If you have any more questions, we’re here to help at
planDisney!
