Can you take coolers in the parks?

    Hi Jennifer,

Sure thing! You are welcome to bring coolers with snacks, sandwiches or other food and drinks with you into the parks, and it's a great way to cut down on food costs or to appease picky eaters. There are a couple of guidelines. The cooler must be no bigger than 24"x15"x18". You can't bring glass (except baby food) or alcohol.

My only caution is not to weigh yourself down too much. I think a soft, collapsible cooler is the best, especially if you are going to have a stroller and can tuck it into the storage compartment. I've seen people with backpack coolers, too, which look pretty convenient.
