What is the most convienent way to get from DB&YR to the MK? Should we take the bus or take the Monarail via Epcot? Thanks for all your advice! MP Rocks!

    Hi Shannon!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

I'm going to assume you are referring to Disney's Beach Club and Yacht Club Resorts.  If I'm wrong, please write back!

From those two resorts, the easiest way to get to the Magic Kingdom is via a bus right outside the resort.  Buses run about every 20 minutes and it is about a 10 minute bus ride to the Magic Kingdom.

If you decide to get there by going through Epcot, you can plan on a 5 to 10 minute walk to the International Gateway Entrance of Epcot, located between the France and United Kingdom Pavilions.  Then it is about a 15 minute walk to the Epcot main entrance.  From there, you would have to make about a 5 minute walk to the monorail station.  As you can see, it will be much faster, though perhaps not as much fun, to simply ride the bus from the resorts.  The bus will drop guests off right in front of the Magic Kingdom.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
