Welcome Home, Miyuki! Thanks for visiting planDisney--it's the best day ever whenever I get to chat about all things
Disney Vacation Club with a fellow Member. You've got a friend in me, and I'm happy to help with your question!
There are so many ways to use your
Vacation Points as a DVC Member, which is one of the really great aspects of Membership. In addition to the
Disney Vacation Club resorts, Members can exchange points for stays at
Walt Disney World Resort, voyages with
Disney Cruise Line, and a wide array of worldwide adventures with
Adventures by Disney and
Interval International.
Interval International gives Members access to accommodations at destinations around the globe, with trips ranging from relaxing beachside getaways to adventures in cities from New York to Tokyo. Miyuki, it appears that you exchanged your Vacation Points for reservation points to be used for an Interval booking. This can be accomplished online or by calling
Member Services, and carries a non-refundable transaction fee (currently $95, subject to change).
Unfortunately, converting your points is a final transaction, meaning you will not be able to return the points you exchanged to your DVC bank and use them for a DVC booking. I encourage you to spend some time on the Interval site to look at your options for using those points. Many helpful online forums have great strategies and tips for maximizing your Interval reservation points, so I suggest looking into those as well.
I'm sorry this wasn't the answer you were hoping for, Miyuki, but I hope you can use those Interval points for a well-deserved vacation to a dream destination! Thanks again for stopping by planDisney, and please don't hesitate to reach out again if we can help with additional questions.
Stay Magical!
Susan
