Hi Stephanie, welcome home and welcome to planDisney! As Disney Vacation Club members, our Vacation Points don’t just have to be used at DVC Resorts, we can literally take them to infinity and beyond! Let’s talk more about how we can do that for a stay at
Pixar Place Hotel.
In order to use your Vacation Points at Pixar Place Hotel, you’ll have to exchange them into the Disney Collection, which includes select Disney Resorts in the U.S. and abroad, as well as Disney Cruise Line sailings and Adventures by Disney experiences.
Here are the point charts that indicate how many Vacation Points are required for stays at Disneyland in 2026. You'll find the ones for Pixar Place Hotel on pages 7 through 9. After determining the amount of Vacation Points needed, you’ll want to
call Member Services to have them complete the booking on your behalf, subject to availability.
Stephanie, here’s some important information to know about these types of exchanges. Exchanges are only available to DVC members
eligible for Membership Extras. In addition, there is typically a transaction fee when exchanging your Vacation Points for use within the Disney Collection, such as a stay at Pixar Place Hotel. Finally, the
Rule of Four applies to these exchanges, which basically means that you have to make a reservation before the last 4 months of your Use Year for bookings within that Use Year.
Stephanie, here’s a bonus tip! DVC has introduced
Membership Magic Beyond, an optional program that includes many benefits, such as specially priced theme park tickets, priority access to Member Lounges, and waiving transaction fees for Vacation Point exchanges for the Disney Collection. There’s some great discounts on Disneyland tickets, and what’s even better is that these tickets also include
Lightning Lane Multi Pass! If you’re planning on exchanging Vacation Points to stay at Pixar Place and need to purchase theme park tickets, Membership Magic Beyond can offer some serious savings.
I hope this information is helpful for you as you plan a visit out to Disneyland. If you have any further questions, please feel free to
contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Sean
