Can I convert one of my 5 park tickets to park hopper?

    Hi there, Maria!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question. How exciting that you are planning a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth this fall! With five whole days of theme park tickets, I know all kinds of magical moments await you, so let’s hop right to your ticket inquiry.

Unfortunately, Maria, the Park Hopper option is unable to be partially added to a multi-day theme park ticket. You are welcome to add the option to your existing ticket, but it must be purchased for its entire length. While this is likely not the answer you were hoping to receive, if it works within your budget, I suggest purchasing the add-on. I love the freedom, flexibility, and spontaneity a Park Hopper ticket allows. My husband and I just returned from a magical vacation and were hopping back and forth between EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios so frequently, we might have been mistaken for Alice’s perpetually late friend, White Rabbit.

Although dates have not yet been released, you will likely be visiting during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.  With so many amazing food offerings available, I always require multiple EPCOT visits in order to sample them all. I think you would love having the Park Hopper option to drop in and out of the festival for snacks and meals as desired. Of course, you won’t actually be required to hop to EPCOT. With its location on both the Monorail and Disney Skyliner, the commute between EPCOT and other theme parks is a breeze.

If you decide to purchase the Park Hopper option, the process can be completed quickly in your My Disney Experience Mobile app. First, select the menu button, the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the home screen. Next, select ‘Tickets and Passes’ and choose the ticket to which you'd like to add the Park Hopper option. You’ll then select ‘Change Ticket’ and ‘Park Hopper’ before continuing to checkout. If you have any issues with this process, simply reach out to a friendly Cast Member at the Existing Tickets line who will be more than happy to assist you with your magical vacation.

I hope this was helpful, Maria. Feel free to (park) hop back by with any additional questions that arise!

    Cheers to 2024,
    Lizzie
