Will there be any conventions at Coronado Springs on dates 4/14/17-4/22/17??

Greetings, Blandine! Much like the gathering of the Fates in Hercules, people gather to discuss business, pleasure and lifestyle at Walt Disney World Resort all the time.

If you’re looking to stay (or have already booked a room) at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, you’ll love the hidden city-of-gold theming and gorgeous Mayan Temple themed pool. But don’t worry about feeling too crowded. I’ve stayed at several Walt Disney World Resorts while weddings, conferences and sessions were taking place. I never felt ignored, unimportant or left out, due to the incredible customer service Disney always provides! To answer you more directly, yes, there will be a few convention groups at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort during that time period.

I find that convention guests often hit the parks in the afternoons, when Resort guests and families are headed in for naps, pool time, or even dinner, so if you try to avoid the bus stops around 4-ish, chances are you’ll avoid those crowds, too! I hope you have a magical vacation, and please let me know if there is anything else I can help with! ~ Lindsey P.
