Hey there, Sissy, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I see you’ve got a visit to Walt Disney World coming up very soon, and I’m so excited for you!
Extra Magic Hours are one of my very favorite perks of staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Having exclusive early morning or late night access to the theme parks always makes me feel like a VIP, and there’s something extra-magical about the theme parks at night. Whether it’s the fairies twinkling in the trees in Magic Kingdom Park or the shadowy palm trees and neon lights in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I am just in awe of how stunning the theme parks are.
Sissy, during evening
Extra Magic Hours, there are Cast Members at the entrance to each attraction’s queue, and they scan Guests’ MagicBands to verify that they are resort Guests. Please note that not all attractions are available during Extra Magic Hours, and some of the dining and snack locations will be closed. There are PhotoPass photographers in select locations, so be sure to stop and “say Mickey.”
I’ve had some amazingly fun late-night visits to Walt Disney World – it’s good to be on #teamnosleep in The Most Magical Place on Earth. If you are in Magic Kingdom Park, and you’re more like Rapunzel and less like Aurora, I recommend hanging in there for the truly magical
Kiss Goodnight, which takes place 30 minutes after the park closes. I won’t spoil it for you, but be near Cinderella Castle at this time for a moment that will give you all the feels.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
