    The Contemporary use to offer church services on holy days of obligation...wondering if they still do this & if they will offer Ash Wednesday service there or anywhere else on WDW grounds in 2017? Also, do the parks offer a lent menu?

    Thanks for visiting us today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Glad to know you'll visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in less than two months. Wonderful!

    Recently the Resort, has only offered religious services during Easter Sunday and Christmas Day. I did verify with Guest Relations, and at this time, there's no information available regarding services for Ash Wednesday for 2017. They suggest to check back in February.

    There are several nearby churches that you may wish to visit, including Mary, Queen of Universe Catholic Shrine, Community Presbyterian Church in Celebration, United Methodist Church Community of Faith, and Trinity Lutheran Church and School. They are all located a short cab away, or you could take advantage of services like Uber or Lyft, to get to your destination. Be sure to stop the Lobby Concierge of your Resort hotel for additional help.

    One last tip: be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app. Not only it will help you with all your planning needs, but even gives you access to restaurant information including menus. Feel free to come back with any other questions you may have. See you real soon!
