Contemporary - garden wing & dining plan vs BLT and groceries? Have 2 VERY picky eaters 2 & 5. Do I want to try eating out after a busy day with kids this age? Thinking meltdowns, 2yo prob won't eat enough. Has anyone done BLT and cook? Is it less

    Hi Pam!
What about option 3, Contemporary wing and pay out of pocket for meals? I personally do not think that the dining plan is worth it with kids this age. Number one, they do not eat enough, and number two, to your point, do you want to be obligated to have at least one sit down meal per day, when the kids may only want something small? I would be less concerned about meltdowns (kids seem to be pretty resilient here) and more concerned about time waiting at a restaurant or wasted food/money.
As for BLT, you need to decide if you are up for cooking each day after a day in the parks. Sometimes it's nice to let Disney do the cooking and cleaning.
So, I would go option 3 (not to toot my own horn) or option BLT. I would not opt for the dining plan on this trip.
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical vacation!! :)
