Will b @ the Contemporary from Dec23-Jan1-my ? is: what is the best way to get to other parks? Should we do the Disney buses from the Contemporary or the monorail to TTC and then the bus? Trying 2 minimize stress since will be there over Xmas with crowds!

    Hi there, Deidre!

What a fantastic way to spend Christmas by staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort! You are absolutely going to love the gorgeous holiday decorations there. In fact, I recommended doing the Resort monorail loop and checking out the decorations at each one of the Resorts...it's a real treat!

You'll be able to get to both Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot via the monorail. For Epcot, you'll just have to switch monorails at the Transportation & Ticket Center [TTC]. That's definitely going to be the easiest for those two Parks. Now, if you're heading to either Disney's Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios, my vote is to just take a Disney bus directly from the Contemporary. That way, you'll just go straight to the Park and even if you have to wait for a bus, it will be quicker than taking a monorail to the TTC and transferring to a bus.

Whichever route you choose, remember to slow down and take time to soak in all of the beautiful sights, smells and sounds of the season. I'm certain that you'll have a simply wonderful time! Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question and please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have.

    Have a Pixie Dusted vacation!
